Energy Efficiency Reports

Since 4th Jan 2009, air conditioning inspections have been a legal requirement for systems above certain rated outputs. Accredited inspections are required at least once every five years.

• Inspection requirements

  For any system with an effective rated output of 250Kw or more, inspections are mandatory. For systems with a rated output of 12Kw or more, the first inspection must have been carried out by 4th Jan 2011. For all systems first put into service on or after 1st Jan 2008, the first inspection must take place within five years of the date when it was first put into service.
